Armenian Taverna, Manchester |
In the shadow of Manchester's magnificent Town Hall, The Armenian Taverna is a unique experience within the city, being the only restaurant serving dishes from Armenia. |
| The dishes at this long established restaurant are also influenced by the cuisines of Turkey, Greece, Iran and other Arab nations. |
| The Armenian Taverna's most famous dish is The Armenian Banquet consisting of a range of starters including Hummus & Falafel, a main course selection of the chef's mixed kebab (chicken & minced lamb) lamb chops & pork cooked over charcoal, & to finish a dessert of coffee and an Armenian delight! Non-meat eaters don't miss out either with the Vegetarian Banquet. This is an experience not to be missed.
|
The Armenian Taverna is steeped in tradition. The decor is very ornate and quirky, with memorabilia collected from over the years and painted frescos adorn the walls. All of which go to create a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. |
