Mughli
Indian Restaurant Manchester - reader comments |
| "Well,
since my review in June (below), Mughli is back on
top form. We visited last Saturday night and it's
back to its best. The old man's still off poorly but one of
the sons has got hold of it now and has tweeked a few things.
The Lamb Tikka Chop starter is now back to its pink best,
couldnt fault 'em. We usually order kharari when we visit
Mughli, as it's so good, but this time we
were offered the dish Bombay style. The buttery flavour of
the original replaced with spiciness and some heat to it,
very different and, oh, so very moorish. One of my favourite
Indian restaurants in Manchester, when it's on the top of
its game." -

| "We
have visited the Mughli many times, the lamb tikka chops and
the karahi are usually to die for, unfortunately, the owner
is off ill at the moment, and it shows. The tikka chops, usually
cooked slightly pink, came over cooked, tough, and dry.
The quality of the lamb in the karahi was slightly grissly
and with no flavour. This used to be my favorite Indian restaurant
but standards seem to be slipping. Get well soon Peter,
the quality of your food depends on it." -

food, fast service, wouldn't go again. Quality very
poor!" -
