Pink Garlic Restaurant Rusholme Manchester - reader comments |
"We visit the Pink Garlick whenever we go out to eat, the service is good, the food is good, we would recommend to anybody. The choice of Chinese and Asian is great." - martin, stockport 30/3/09 (visited on a sat evening) |

"I wasn't that happy with the buffet at Pink Garlic. Nothing looked fresh, totally different to when I went there last, which was about a year and half ago. In need of a revamp in the toilets, and the open plan kitchen thing isn't the greatest thing to be looking at. Also there was no music. There's something missing from there and it doesn't feel like a resturant." - matt, manchester 29/3/09 (visited on a saturday evening) |

"Food was delayed, portions were mega small, starters were shockingly priced they even charged for extra salad and water. Pink Garlic is a big place and there wasn't many people. One dish ordered never came and to avoid embarrassment they crossed it off the bill. We waited 30 mins for the order and even then it only came after we reminded them that we were waiting, at which point the waiter never showed his face again. The waiters seemed uninterested and seemed in a hurry to move on with order. No extras were given, not even a mint and we were not even asked if we enjoyed the mood, seemed like we were unwelcome guests. Poor in every way ." - mohseen mutvalli, leicester - 6/10/08 (visited on a saturday evening) |

"The food was out of this world. Everything was spot on, especially the Hot & Sour Soup and Chicken Manchurian Sizzler. Don't forget to try their Biryani Haleem Nrhar i. Everything was classic. I do recommend to every one, Pink Garlic is the place to go ." - hamad, manchester - 23/7/08 (visited on a saturday evening) |

"I invited guests on my daughter's birthday and no doubt, everyone had a bad experience. Hot & Sour Soup was smelly - thanks to the restaurant manager, he changed it for us. Starter Kebap and Tikka was too spicy, and the main course Chicken Manchurian was full of water, Chicken Fried Rice and Special Fried Rice both were just the same, tasteless and seemed to be cooked by a chef who has never tasted the Chinese dish. In short every thing we ate and drank (lemonade) was third class. I strongly recommend they change the chef if they'd like to see their customers frequently as I like everything about this restaurant but the food." - asi, manchester - 7/6/08 (visited on a friday evening) |
