New Emperor Chinese Restaurant Manchester - reader comments |
"I would not recommend the New Emperor and I will not be going back." - martyn, york 21/9/09 (visited on a friday evening)

"We have been going to New Emperor for 7 or 8 years. We had not been there for a year or so and the standards have gone down. The staff were there but there minds were somewhere else. The food was way below the standards that we are used to in China Town. It will be the last we go there which is a shame because it was a very nice place." - steve, stockport 9/1/09 (visited on a friday evening)

"Food - some of it was ok, some not. Shabby inside, plates and cutlery looked well worn. Slow service when not even that busy. £1.50 for soda water!?! Final bill was £80 for 2 adults and 1child - not worth it!" - simon marshall, rochdale 30/6/08 (visited on a sunday afternoon)

"Been here a few times now and staff have always been helpful & friendly, which in another review it said they were unfriendly? The food is of good quality, a little more expensive than some of the others, but yes the ladies toilets are pretty bad." - simon, rochdale 28/4/08 (visited on a saturday evening)

"This restarant wasn't very good for service or presentation for the price we paid. The toilets put you off your food and the ladies were locked, so the women had to use the disabled. The bins were overflowing, no toilet roll and they smelt plus there was no water to wash your hands. How disgusting." - hannah, manchester 11/2/08 (visited on a sun evening)
