On the menu is an intriguing mix of South African street food, classic
dishes, and sweet treats.
Go for the classic cured meat munchie, Biltong – it's made fresh here in Manchester by a South African butcher - or try
their Bobotie – imagine an exotic version of cottage pie with mango and
apricots, rather than carrots and onions.
Desserts include the winsome Malva Sponge (hot apricot sponge soaked in
a rich orange cream) and the heavenly Koek Balls (doughy balls fried and
dipped in a ginger and cinnamon syrup)
For drinks, you could order a bottle of South African wine, or try their
range of beers – the IPA from Cape Brewery Co. is the only South African
craft beer on tap in Manchester- whilst their South African cocktails are
spot-on too.
