The Pearl is a charming British restaurant in Prestwich Village serving beautifully presented dishes in a relaxed, intimate dining room.
Independent and family-owned, they work with like-minded producers and growers from the British Isles on a simple and delicious menu and let the ingredients speak for themselves and regularly features meat from notable Heaton Moor butchers Littlewoods and game from the Yorkshire Moors. Heading up the kitchen team is Matt Bennett, formally of Mana and Gidleigh Park.
The Pearl's wine list is succinct and considered, leaning towards classic tasting wines with sustainable credentials, supporting family-run, independent producers. House wine for the table is available by the carafe at 250ml for £12 and 500ml for £22. For a special occasion ask for the Little Red Book - a very carefully curated micro list of specially selected bottles to mark the gathering of loved ones.
The Pearl was recently included in the 100 Best Local Restaurants 2024 compiled by the Good Food Guide.
