Nestled on the ground floor of the Treehouse Hotel Manchester, Pip is a modern British restaurant that celebrates seasonal produce, heritage cookery, and the joy of gathering, led by acclaimed chef Mary-Ellen McTague.
Pip reimagines traditional dishes with craft and care, offering a warm, convivial space for breakfast, brunch, Sunday roasts, and everything in between. The menu is rooted in sustainability, with ingredients sourced from local suppliers including Organic North, Littlewoods Butchers, Companio Bakery, and seafood from UK waters.
Mary-Ellen’s culinary philosophy shines through in Pip’s low-waste, flavour-forward dishes and hyper-seasonal drinks programme. Cocktails are crafted in synergy with the kitchen, often using spent ingredients to reduce waste and elevate taste. Diners can expect comforting yet refined plates like Lancashire Hot Pot and Treacle Tart or a Full English featuring Bury black pudding and homemade hash browns.

Celebrate the best of British produce and the flavours of the season with our Pip Mini Tasting Menu, created by Mary-Ellen McTague.
Showcasing the finest local and seasonal ingredients, this four-course menu blends nostalgic comfort with refined technique. Changing weekly to reflect the freshest produce, each dish is thoughtfully paired with wines selected to complement the flavours of the season.
Dinner is priced at £40 per person. Enhance your experience with a curated wine pairing: four 125ml glasses selected to complement each course, available for £30 per person.
A vegetarian tasting menu is also available.

Every Sunday, Pip serves up a refined take on the classic roast. Guests can choose between 2 courses for £34 or 3 courses for £39.
Enjoy the Pip selection of snacks and starters including Carlingford Oysters and Smoked Chalk Stream Trout, Mustard Cream, Rhubarb Ketchup with Rye.
For mains, choose from:
Roast Striploin Beef and Yorkshire Pudding
Slow Roast Fennel Salted Porchetta
Herb roasted Cumbrian Half Chicken

All Roasts are served with caramelised onion purée, seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes, and gravy.
Finish with indulgent puddings such as Treacle Tart, Earl Grey & Bergamot and Poached Rhubarb, Rosewater Cream & Black Pepper Meringue.
