After ten years in the city, Pot Kettle Black are making their first appearance in the Northern Quarter as they pop up at ASAP Coffee on Tariff Street seven days a week with ther signature brunch, bakes and an unmissable “Benny Bar”!

We headed down to get involved in the action.

As touched on already, there's an extensive menu of benedicts to suit all tastes, from the classic, halloumi, mushroom, or even an upscale beef brisket option. They all come with the option to upgrade to a “Dirty Benny”, meaning the boujee addition of sriracha hollandaise, avocado, pico de gallo and pink pickled onions… All loaded on top of the Benny of your choice!

However, we opted to try the Grandad's Benedict, which came served with two superb quality Cheddar and jalapeno bangers provided by the iconic team at Grandad's Sausages, and of course went with the dirty option.

Another dish which went down a treat was the ASAP Coffee x PKB French Toast, which is exclusive to the residency and made with whipped ASAP coffee mascarpone, coffee cremeux, white chocolate, coffee caramel and dark chocolate soil, served on Half Dozen Other's brioche loaf French toast, with some sliced strawberries to add a pop of freshness!

And not only does to collab deliver the goods in terms of eats, but ASAP can always be relied on for a truly solid coffee too, whether you're looking for something complete with arty swan latte art, a batch brew, to a currently-trandy Matcha, a great mug of tea, or anything else from ASAP's stellar drinks menu.
