Land Of The Rising Sun
Tasting Experience from £50

Chef Patron Michael Shaw invites you to embark on a personal culinary journey through the heart of Japan, where each dish presented is a testament to the inspiration drawn from four distinct cooking styles:

Edomae - In the bustling streets of Edo-era Tokyo, a new culinary beat emerged. Chefs, rising to the rhythm of the city's lively pulse, honed the craft of Edomae sushi with fresh catches straight from Tokyo Bay.

Izakaya - Amidst the city's hum and chatter, local vendors whip up magic with straightforward ingredients. Step into an Izakaya, and you're in for a treat, with tempura and robatayaki taking center stage in this section of the menu

Teppan - This culinary technique, introduced in the 20th century, represents a fusion of traditional tastes with modern flair. The Teppan, a flat steel plate saw local chefs masterfully use the grill to transform simple ingredients into exquisite dishes.

Kaiseki - Starting from the tea rituals in Kyoto, Kaiseki has transformed into more than just a meal. It's an intricate dance of flavours, textures, and presentation, crafted with utmost care to delight the senses.

The seasonal tasting menu is a humble tribute to the rich traditions of Japanese cuisine, where precision and artistry come together to create a dining experience that will leave a lasting impression.

Choose from a 5, 8 or 12-course Land Of The Rising Sun menu.

Elevate your dining experience even further by pairing your meal with wine selected by the Musu sommelier team.
