Justice for Manchester with Michelin Star?
A top restaurateur has been lined up, with the aim of bringing Manchester its first Michelin star, in the redeveloped county court house on Deansgate, next to Wagamama in Spinngfields. Henry Boot, the owners of the beautiful Grade II 1896 building, say they cannot yet reveal who is lined up to move in although plans submitted to the city council confirm it will be a high-end restaurant.

Sandinista Latino Restaurant opened to the public on 1st April. The backstreet venue off St Annes Square features a restaurant and bars over two floors with an open kitchen serving latin-inspired cuisine. ~ 1st Apr 2011
Thomas Restaurant are set to open a club room on the top floor of their Northern Quarter building on April 15th. The hidden away drinking den will be open only at weekends. ~ 30th Mar 2011
