The Moss Nook Closes Down After 38 Years
One of Manchester's most celebrated restaurants, the Moss Nook next to the airport, has closed after 38 years of trading. Long time owners Derek and Pauline Harrison announced the restaurant would cease trading at the end of May following substantial losses over the past 3 years. Having been third in our Top 10 Best Restaurants in Manchester list, it will be a very sad loss for Manchester's fine-dining scene.

Now, virtually all the menu can be enjoyed by people with a gluten or dairy intolerance. This week, they introduce a new dessert menu with a fantastic selection of dietary delights by The Cocoa Emporium and, to top this off, also now sell 'The Worlds Best Gluten Free Beer', DAURA from Estrella Damm.
