When Asha’s restaurant first opened its doors in Dubai back in 2002 it was with one purpose, to share Asha Bhosle’s passion for great Indian food and achived this by being the only Indian restaurant in Manchester to have featured in the Michelin Guide within its first year of opening.
Since then, Asha’s restaurants have opened around the world, including in Manchester with a restaurant located on Peter Street. Later this year Asha's will be joined by Forty-Seven a boutique style hotel as it opens above the restaurant.
Asha’s Manchester's new Head Chef Rajesh Bhatt who has prevously worked at Asha's Dubai and Abu Dhabi will bring with him an array of new dishes inspired by recipes passed down through the generations. Rajesh starting cooking at a young age; the first dish he learnt to cook was Dal Makhani, which his mother used to cook on special occasions.
The stylish restaurant on the upper ground floor seats over 100 guests whilst the brand new opulent Peterman bar downstairs has space for private dining making it ideal for parties, celebrations or delicious cocktails with friends. The restaurants, like the icon herself, will continue to impress the world for many years to come.
